The powwow takes place at the end of May, every Memorial Day weekend at the Wailoa Park and Pavilion, within walking distance of Downtown Hilo and Banyan Drive. Three days of Native American colorful dances, excellent crafts, and lots of family fun. Admission is free for this alcohol and drug-free event. For more info visit www.hilopowwow.com.
